OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ PLT5 488 is a new cyan laser diode that delivers 60 mW of single-mode output at 488 nm (typically 488 ± 2 nm) in a compact 5.6 mm package. It is offered with an integrated monitoring photodiode and a Zener diode for ESD protection. With a clean, side-lobe-free beam profile, it is well suited for beam circularization and single-mode fiber coupling.
The PLT5 488 cyan laser diode is designed for demanding applications such as flow cytometry, medical diagnostics, DNA sequencing, and bio-fluorescence.
For applications requiring higher power at 488 nm, a 300 mW 488 nm laser diode is also available. Please contact us for 60 mW and 300 mW 488 nm laser diodes featuring excellent beam quality, high reliability, and long-life, robust performance.
